Professional & Applied Experience Requirements: Applied Practicum
Environment, Natural Resource and Society graduate students are required to complete an applied practicum (ENR 5921). The practicum provides a way for students to receive credit and flexibility for doing important network and relationship building work, learn from the expertise of communities, and gain professional experience and skills while contributing to community driven solutions to ENRS challenges.
You should seek an experience that provides one or more of the following outcomes:
- direct engagement with a community of interest
- meaningful interaction with professionals in your field of study
- hands-on experience that directs your career path
